Robert Moxon's Sherwood’s number is consistent with either 8th or 21st Battalions. The 330223 Regimental Number is not on the medal rolls for the Sherwoods so he probably only served with them in UK. The 21st Battalion Territorial Force (T.F.) formed in June 1915 was from the home service personnel of the T.F battalions. He was possibly in the T.F. from 1913 but this is currently unproven.
