Biography
William, born in 1880 at Wheatcroft, was the son of James and Jane Limb. He worked as a farm labourer before joining the forces. He returned to Crich after demob and worked for a time as a postman. He married Alice L Ashton in 1927 December qtr (Belper reg district). By the 1930s William was working as a labourer for Derbyshire County Council.
