The Jackson appear to have left Hill Top Farm in 1917 and moved to Whatstandwell, where Dick's father, Isaac Jackson, became a coal merchant at Hurt's Coal Wharf, until 1927. Richard Jackson married Alice Chevens in 1920 (Belper District)
